Mary Hamilton, 90

Mary Ann Hansen Hamilton, of West Portsmouth died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Hillview Healthcare Center. Mary was born August 5, 1917 in Columbus, OH to the late Thomas Bernard and Margaret Jane Graham Hansen. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harry Hamilton and a daughter Linda Manchester. Mary was a Homemaker and a member of McDermott United Methodist Church.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Walter) Jarrells of West Portsmouth; two brothers, Gene Hansen of Indiana and John Hansen of Montgomery, Alabama; two sisters, Jeanette Thompson of Key Largo, Florida and Betty Adams of Xenia, Ohio; three grandchildren, Molly Jarrells, Jason (Erin) Jarrells, and Stephanie Manchester and three great grandchildren, Emily Sparks, Andrew Sparks and Lacy Manchester. Mary was also preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas, Robert, Fred and James Hansen; three sisters, Marie Koch, Catherine Penn and Ruth Murray; and three grandchildren, Randy and Robert Manchester and an Infant Boy.

Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Monday At the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Matthew Brooks officiating and interment in Rushtown Cemetry. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M on Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Friendship United Methodist Scholarship Fund.
