Mary Margaret Blevins, 83

Mary Margaret Blevins, 83 of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at her home. She was born September 7, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late Amen and Marie Sparks Howard.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Charles Sterling Blevins, a son Charles Sterling Blevins Jr. and 2 sisters; Bonnie Milstead and Patty Howard.

Mary was a homemaker and loved attending church and hearing her son preach. She was a member of the IPCC Church on 6th Street in Portsmouth.

Mary is survived by 3 sons; Larry (Ruth) Blevins, Frankie (Brenda) Blevins and Steve (Reva) Blevins, 4 daughters; Marie (Tony) Reinhart, Tina Blevins Brady, Tammy (Rick) Wilfong and Brenda Blevins, a brother, Roby Hawkins, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with her son, Larry Blevins officiating and interment in Vaughters Cemetery.
