Mary E. Journey, 78
Mary E. Journey, 78 of West Portsmouth, died Monday February 20, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. She was born February 15, 1934 in Portsmouth to the late Henry L and Josephine Alley Conley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dry Run Church of Christ. Along with her parents Mary was preceded in death by a brother William Conley and 2 sisters; Dorothy Stephens and Hazel Griffith.
Mary is survived by her husband, Donald W. Journey whom she married June 21, 1952 in Portsmouth, 2 daughters; Janet E. (Charles) Bivens of McDermott and Karen S. (Chad) Everhart of McConnelsville, Ohio, a sister Wanda Harq of Michigan, 4 grandchildren; Nicholas (Kaeri) Bivens of Wheelersburg, Joshua (Faith) Bivens of McDermott, Stephanie (Joe) Frazee of Texas, and Allison Everhart, 6 Great Grandchildren; Tyler Dodridge, Tanner Bivens, Morgan Bivens, Hunter Bivens, Breckyn Bivens, Caden Bivens.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday February 23, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers and Rase Martin officiating and interment at Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences my be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
