Mary M. Wilson, 91
Mary M. Wilson, 91 of New Boston (formerly of Dry Run Road, West Portsmouth), went to be with her Lord and Savior, on March 27, 2012. Mary was born on February 2, 1921, on Fallen Timber Road, a daughter of the late Thomas and Martha (Wiles) Conkel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester F. Wilson. Mary is also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
Surviving are 3 sons, Kenneth (Beverly) Wilson from Athens, Alabama, Robert (Karon) Wilson from Portsmouth, Ohio, and Stephen (Pat) Wilson from Acworth. She is survived by a younger brother, Thomas (Virginia) Conkel of Beaver, Ohio. Mary has many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday March 30, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers and Pastor Robert Coffey III officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:30pm to 8:30pm on Thursday, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, it was Mary's wish that memorial contributions be made to the SOMC Hospice 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio. The family wishes to convey a special thank you to SOMC Hospice, Roger W. Davis Funeral Home and to Yodi Wilson and staff and the residents of Heritage Square, who was our mothers "Extended Family" Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
