Mary E. Murta, 83

Mary E. Murta, 83 of Minford died Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1933 in Portsmouth to the late Roy and Gustava Middaugh Schweinsberg. She was a retired Nurses aid and attended Minford Nazarene Church. Along with her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband William D. Murta who she married on August 28, 1951, a son Roger Murta, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mary is survived by 2 sons; Michael Murta of Sciotoville and Frederick Murta of Beaver, 3 daughters; Sandra Murta of Minford, Pamela Biggs of Tipp City and Phyllis Frye of Sandusky, a sister Rose Wisneski of Kenosha WI., 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday June 18, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Bales officiating and interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
