Mary Frances Spencer, 73

Mary Frances Oakes Spencer, 73 of Lucasville, died Wednesday December23, 2020 at her home. She was born May 29, 1947 in Portsmouth to the late David Austin and Ida Mae Heron Oakes. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Victoria Collett.

Mary was a retired bus driver for Greyhound Lines and Lake Front Lines and also City Buss in Columbus. She loved doing charter trips. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Revolution and loved doing genealogy.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gerald A. Spencer whom she married on October 7, 1966, 2 sons; Richard G. Spencer and Michael A. Spencer, a daughter, Debra Gifford, a sister Davida McMullen, 4 grandchildren; Brittney Spencer James, Joshua Gifford, Jeffery Gifford and Ryan Gifford, 9 great grandchildren; Makayla Spencer, Ashlyn James, Carson, Bentley Levi and Makayla Gifford, Serenity, Leom Gifford and Riley Gifford, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 30, 2020 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
