Mary Elizabeth Wear Smith, 73
Mary Elizabeth Wear Smith, 73 of Dayton, formally of West Portsmouth, died Friday August 15, 2008 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born December 5, 1934 in Portsmouth to the late David and Ruth Hobbs Wear. She was a night Auditor for LaQuinta Motels.
Mary is survived by 2 sons; David Noel Smith and John Phillip Smith both of Fairborn, Ohio, 2 daughters; Jackie Lee Woods of Piketon and Barbara Jean Woodruff of Fairborn, 2 sisters; Carol Dawn Puckett and Dorothy O'Dell both of West Portsmouth, 1 brother David Michael Wear of West Portsmouth, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a very special friend Carolyn Skinner of Tipp City.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Monday August 18, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mary's niece, Leichia Davis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Condolences can be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
