Michael K. Phillips (Mick) 50,
Michael K. Phillips (Mick) 50 of Manor, Texas, Born December 29, 1958 in McDermott to Richard L and Barbara L. Phillips whom survive. Mick was a 1977 graduate of Northwest High School and SCJVS. Mick moved to Texas in his early twenties to seek employment and would later take an early retirement from Dell Computers. We will always cherish the memory of his fun loving spirit. He will be missed deeply by his friends and family. Mick was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Besides his parents, He is survived by a brother; Richard C (Lois) Phillips and a sister Dreama (CJ) Piatt, , three nephews; Tyson Phillips, Kyle Phillips and Drew Piatt, one niece; Mandi Piatt; three aunts; Dru Elaine Phillips, Ruth McNeil and Sue Cooper, one uncle; James Barber and many loving cousins. Mick will be greatly missed by his long time friend Joseph Triveno.
A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Austin Peel and Sons Funeral Home 607 E Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752 with Reverend Karl Gronberg officiating. Donations may be made in honor of Mick to Nauvoo United Methodist Church in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
