Michael Lee Maple, 61

Michael Lee Maple 61 of West Portsmouth passed peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. He was born April 15, 1955 to the late Ralph and Betty Wheeler Maple. He was a retired electrician and a member of IBEW Local 575 since 1981. Mike also attended Nauvoo United Methodist Church.

Mike is survived by his wife Diana Copas Maple, children; Christopher, Laura, and Jacob Maple, siblings; Karen (Dave) Smith, David (Mary) Maple, Danny (Loreen) Maple, Michelle (Tom) Temple, Julie (Chuck) Cooper and Debbie (Ronnie) Newman, mother-in-law, Laura Copas, sister-in-law, Lisa Howard, brother-in-law, Matthew (Lisa) Copas, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Nauvoo United Methodist Church in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SOMC Hospice or Nauvoo United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank all of the Hospice staff for their care and kindness.
