Michael A. McCoy, 61
Michael A. McCoy, 61 of Edgewood Manor, died Wednesday December 29, 2010 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late Ted McCoy and Winona Dunn McCoy of Portsmouth. Mike was a graduate of Portsmouth West High School was a Marine Vietnam War Veteran. He was a former Shawnee State Forrest Park Ranger and loved the woods and forest. He was an animal lover and was always bringing home strays for someone to care for or to keep for himself. Mike had been in ill health for many years. Along with his father Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Opal Dunn.
Mike is survived by his mother, a son Kevin McCoy of Portsmouth and several aunts uncles and cousins . Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
