Mildred V. Lawhun, 78 of Canal Winchester, died Tuesday May 19, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. She was born November 21, 1936 in Portsmouth to the late James and Ethel Horsley Brown. Along with her parents Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lawhun, a son, Joseph C. Lawhun, 5 brothers; Lafe, Jimmy, Abe, Bill and Henry Brown, 7 sisters; Frances Williams, Nancy Waughtel, Bertha Stone, Ellen Blevins, Leona Bevins, Betty Jean Pollard and Alice.

Mildred is survived by a daughter, Veronica Marie Moore of Canal Winchester, a sister Vicki Brown of Canal Winchester, a daughter in law Judy Lawhun, 4 grandchildren; Chasity Moore, Josh Moore, Lisa Lawhun and Gwen (Jack) Adkins, 6 great grandchildren; Josephine, Eli, Jackie, Ty, Abbie Jo, Bradley.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jim McCullough officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
