Mildred "Mitter" Pistole, 78
Mildred "Mitter" Pistole, 78 of Portsmouth, died Wednesday May 14, 2008 at SOMC Hospice. She was born October 31, 1929 in Portsmouth to the late Clarence and Rildie Conley Ratliff. She was retired from Kurz Kach of Dayton and was a member of New Beginning Church of God. Along with her parents Mildred was preceded in death by her first husband James C. Thompson and her second husband Bobby Pistole, 2 brothers; Reverend Herbert Ratliff and Wilson Ratliff and a sister Mae Sowards.
Mildred is survived by a sister Freda Wheeles of Ashland, Alabama along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday May 17, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff and Joe Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Friday and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
