Millie Marguerite Hamilton, 94

Millie Marguerite Hamilton, 94 of Pleasant Valley formerly of West Portsmouth died Saturday October 4, 2014 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield. She was born August 30, 1920 in New Boston to the late Ava Emerson and Ella Alice Fosnaugh Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Dry Run Church of Christ. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Junior Hamilton who she married on May 21, 1941, a daughter Ruth Ann Hamilton, son in law, Frank Lawwell, 6 brothers, 1 sister, 2 step brothers, 2 half brothers and a half sister

Millie is survived by a daughter Janet Lee Lawwell of Hillsboro and a son Alan Ray (Jamie) Hamilton of Chillicothe, a brother Heber (Corrie) Jones of Florida, 6 Grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday October 7, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday starting at Noon. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Dry Run Church of Christ.
