Minnie J. Castle, 82

Minnie Castle, 82 of Thurman OH, died Monday May 18, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hunington, WVa. She was born March 16, 1927 in Scioto County to the late William and Mary Bias Tackett. She was a retired GDC Supervisor and a member of Eastern Star. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Aulton B Castle, a daughter Carol Ann Edwards, 3 brothers William E. Tackett, Jessie Tackett, Ezra Tackett and 8 sisters; Dollie Copas, Mabel Mustard, Carrie Conley, Annie Tackett, Katherine Orr, Sophia Miller, Opal Tackett and Laura Walker.

Minnie is survived by her son Donald Paul Richards of Portsmouth, one brother James Tisdale of Georgetown, OH, a sister Rosemary Sparks of Thurman, OH. 2 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday May 22, 2009 at Campground Cemetery in Tunnelton West Virgina, with interment to follow. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 6 to 8:00 PM on Thursday where there will be an Eastern Star Services starting at 8:00 PM conducted by Portsmouth Chapter #424.
