Minta Marie Kinney, 97

Minta Marie Kinney, 97 of West Portsmouth, died Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Hillview Nursing Home. She was born May 12, 1927 in Lucasville, to the late Link and Didama Crabtree.

Minta was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Bible Chapel Church for many years.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Kinney Sr., a daughter, Barbara Ann Shifflett, 5 sisters; Louise Ferguson, Dorothy Pitts, Zelma Fairchild, Carolyn Archey and Letha Caldwell and a brother Clifford Crabtree.

Minta is survived by 3 sons; William (Candy) Commeans Jr., Harold (Donna) Kinney Jr,. and Lowell (Yvonne) Kinney Sr., 2 daughters; Debbie (Mike) Figliola, Diane (Rod Beam) Joseph, a brother, Carl Crabtree, 2 sisters; Barbara Newton and Ruby Archey, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren along with a special friend Mildred Taylor Lundy.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
