Misty Dawn Cooper 45 of Sciotoville, died Sunday April 12, 2026. She was born October 8, 1980 in Portsmouth to Richard Rawlins and Lorraine Evans Hammond.

Misty was a retired Deputy Sherriff from the Scioto County Sheriff’s department after 11 years. She was also a member of the Portsmouth Eagles.

Along with her parents, Misty is survived by her boyfriend Mitchell Blevins, 2 sons; Ryan Payne and Tyler Payne, a daughter Mykal Cooper, stepdaughter Natasha Cooper, step grandchild, Wraylynn Ward, stepbrother Roy Blevins, 3 stepsisters; Candace Barber, Crissy Emmert and Dakota Schroeder, stepmother, Pam Rawlins, stepfather Jesse Hammond and stepfather Roy Blevins
