Nannette Ruth Stone, 100

Nannetta Ruth Stone,100, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Rosemount Pavilion. She was born on February 5, 1924, in Ironton to the late Clarence and Sophie (Boyd) Wall.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Stone Sr., who she married October 18, 1942,  a grandson, Michael F. Stone and two sisters: Lois Morgan and Ruby Willis.

Nannetta retired from General Telephone and was a member of Carey's Run Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Donald F. (Janet) Stone Jr., 3 grandchildren; Mark Stone, Sherry Van Sloun and Lori Stone, 4 great-grandchildren: Ashley, Ally, Jenna and Jodie, along with 3 great great grandchildren: Vivienne, Esme and Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March19, 2024 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
