Naomi Hartstein, 86
Naomi Hartstein, 86 of West Portsmouth died Saturday January 7, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1925 in Portsmouth to the late Richard and Virginia Blake. Naomi was retired from Shawnee State University where she worked for 20 years. Along with her parents Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Alex Hartstein and a daughter Sandra Crawford.
Naomi is survived by 2 daughters; Chris Hartstein of West Portsmouth and Peggy (Randy) Boyle of Cincinnati, 3 sisters; Eileen Criswell of Piketon, Ginny Lou Froman and Nancy Andre both of West Portsmouth, 3 grandchildren; Julie Brossious, Lori Crawford and Megan Boyle, 3 great grandchildren; Alyssa, Jimmy and Alex. Naomi was a lover of animals and currently had a faithful companion "Buddie".
The family requests that donations be made to Sierra's Haven, 80 Easter Drive, Portsmouth, Ohio in Naomi's name. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
