Naomi F. Markwell, 62

Naomi Faye. Markwell, 62 of Friendship, died Monday October 8, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born January 17, 1950 to the late Wesley Manning and Ruth Elizabeth Hanson of Blue Creek. Along with her father she was also preceded in death by her husband Herbert Aaron Markwell Sr. who she married in 1968, and a brother Johnny Manning.

Along with her mother Naomi is survived her daughter Peggy Royster of Stout and 2 sons; Aaron Markwell and Herbert Markwell Jr. both of Friendship, a brother James Manning of Blue Creek. She was a loving grandmother to 2 granddaughters; Stacy (Cody) Swords of South Webster and Tiffany Royster of Stout, 3 great grandchildren who she loved dearly; Landon Manning, Haleigh Swords and Peighton Swords. Naomi put all her faith and trust in God, she faithfully attended First Apostolic Church in Rosemount. She enjoyed going to church activities, family gatherings and being there to help and pray for people in need. She greatly loved and will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday October 11, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Tony Knittel officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
