Nellie Kathleen Hileman, 76

Nellie Kathleen Hileman, 76 of West Portsmouth died Saturday February 18, 2012 at SOMC Hospice. She was born January 8, 1936 in Minford to the late Ernest and Mary Brickey Lucas. She was a graduate of Washington High School (Portsmouth West). She was retired from Washington-Nile Schools after 33 ½ years of service as a Library Aid and Teachers Aid. She was also a member of Pond Run Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Lucas and 2 nephews; Roy Conley and Robert Hopkins.

Kathleen is survived by 2 sons; Edward Lee (Robin) Hileman and Carl Michael (Sherry) Hileman all of Stout, a daughter Mary Margaret(Duane) Johnson of West Portsmouth, 2 brothers; Russell Lucas of Lucasville and Roy Lucas of West Portsmouth, a foster brother Landon Brickey of McDermott, 4 sisters; Edith Hopkins of Rarden, Barbara Conley of South Point, Marjorie Jo Kennedy of Minford and Elizabeth Coldiron of West Portsmouth, 9 grandchildren; Lucas Hileman, Jordan Hileman, Haven Hileman, Amy Longmire, Christopher Hedge, Larissa Hileman, Jacob Hileman, Zachary Johnson, Kasey Christine Johnson, 3 great grandchildren; Gabriel Longmire, Jadyn Hedge and Allyssa Hedge, 10 nephews, 2 nieces and several great and great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday February 21, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Brother Jimmy McCullough and Reverend David Hopkins officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
