Norma Lee Jordan, 76

Norma Lee Jordan, 76 of New Boston, passed away Friday December 2, 2022 at her home. She was born November 7, 1946 in Portsmouth to the late Elza Hodge and Irene Sowards Hodge.

She attended Pond Run Baptist Church faithfully.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Shirley Ann Whitt and Connie Sue Whitt.

Norma is survived by 2 daughters: Brenda Potter of New Boston and Linda (Buddy) Swords of Stout, a son Danny Whitt of Portsmouth, 6 grandchildren: Amanda Potter, Dale (Kimberly) Swords, Tiffany (Dylan) Koons, Briana Potter, Salina (Nathan) Spradlin, and Job (Alexis) Swords, 10 great grandchildren: Brooklyn Barfield, Brandon Barfield, DJ, Tobias and Sutton Swords, Jonah, Carter, and Lydia Koons, Zayden Potter and Aalyah Daniels, a brother Walt Weaver, 2 sisters: Doris Winn and Patty Lewis, a sister-in-law Beverly Baker, along with 2 special friends: Christine Scott and Shirley Summers.

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday December 6, 2022 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jimmy McCullough officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
