Ola Hobbs, 95

Ola Hobbs, 95 of Blue Creek passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union. She was born June 13, 1922 in Millard, Kentucky to the late William and Lizzie Chaney Thacker. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunshine Ridge Church.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Hobbs, 3 sons; Lowell Thomas Hobbs, Billy Donald Hobbs and Lloyd Douglas Hobbs, 2 brothers; Donald and Buford Thacker and 2 sisters; Nola Gordon and Gladys Thacker.

Ola is survived by 9 children; Phyllis (Jim) Green, Jean Hobbs, Norma Stacy, Roy Hobbs, Rosemary (Walter) Vozey, Diane (Jim) Ferrier, Phillip (Lisa) Hobbs, Linda Duncan and Tommy (Sheila) Hobbs Jr., 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 9, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Vernon Shively officiating. Interment will be in Sunshine Ridge Cemetery.
