Owen Stanley Speck 87

Owen Stanley Speck, 87 of Portsmouth entered into Heaven on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Golden Years Convalescent Center. Owen was born September 26, 1917 in Portsmouth, OH to the Late Everett W. and Ethel Garden Speck. He retired from IBM where he worked as an engineer and was a member Masonic Lodge # 1 in Lexington, KY

Owen was preceded in death by Etta, his wife of 63 years Etta on November 24, 2004. He is survived by three sons, Bill (Gay) Speck of Columbus, Lonnie (Donna) Speck of Tampa FL, Bob (Judy) Speck of Georgetown, KY; one sister, Edna Keffer of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Lee Speck, Tabatha Carson, Michael Speck, Jason Speck and Jessica Speck; and four great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Sondra.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, February 19, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Doctor Eric Pohlschneider officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. There will be Masonic Services Friday at 8:00 PM conducted by Naivoo Masonic Lodge #769.
