Pamela Sue Covert, 61

Pamela Sue Covert, 61 of West Portsmouth was welcomed into Heaven at 6:00 PM on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at SOMC Hospice where she passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends, Pam was born June 13, 1953 to the late Mary Darlene Fife Covert and Donald Edward Covert who survives of West Portsmouth. Pam was employed as a nurses aid at SOMC for 14 years and later as a home care provider with Skilled Nursing of Portsmouth. Pam was a member of Dry Run Church of Christ, having been baptized by her father May 6, 1999. She was a loving and giving person who was often found in the services of others.

In addition to her father and step-mother Sue Covert, Pam is survived by a sister, Judy Covert Wise (Mike Coldiron) of West Portsmouth, a niece Jessica Darlene (Charles) Hicks of West Portsmouth, and a nephew, Dustin Edward (Kayla) Wise of Friendship. She also leaves behind 6 great-nieces and great-nephews who will sorely miss her; Ethan Ray Wise, Emmerie Kay Wise, Gavin Michael Wise, Kayden Alexander Crisp, Devin Gabriel Hicks, and Abigail Lynn Wise. Pam also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly and who loved her as well, and a dear friend Sharon Cheek of Wheelersburg.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday December 5, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Minister Mark Seevers and Elder Mark VanKirk officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
