Patricia "Bernice" Albrecht, 84

Patricia "Bernice" Albrecht, 84 of West Portsmouth died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home. She was born October 5, 1933 to the late William and Laura B. Holback Albrecht. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 siblings; Bill Albrecht, Dick Albrecht, June Albrecht, Pauline Price, Katherine Mathews, and Ruth Cooper. She retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center in 1998 where she had worked for 47 years in maternity and recovery. She was a member of Turkey Creek Freewill Baptist Church of Friendship.

Bernice is survived by a nephew; Charles "Bub" (Marcia) Cooper, a niece; Laura (Michael) Day all of West Portsmouth, a special great niece; Holly (Sean) Williams of Canal Winchester and 2 great nephews; Chris (Sarah) Day of Stout and Charlie Cooper of West Portsmouth, 2 great great nephews; Joel and Jonah Williams, and several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Scioto Burial Park with Rev. Dave Sibole officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery starting at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Turkey Creek Freewill Baptist Church, P.O. Box 66 Friendship, Ohio 45630 in her memory. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W.
