Patsy Lee Shupert, 67

Patsy Lee Shupert, 67 of West Portsmouth, went to meet the Lord on Wednesday, August 10, 2011.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to the care of her family. Her legacy is in the love, nurture and kindness she gave to all those she knew. She is now resting with God, sorry to leave all her loved ones behind, but happy to be in a better place.

Patsy was born on September 14, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio; the daughter of Lloyd and Hazel Dulaney. She is survived by her husband Dale Shupert whom she married September 21, 1959 in West Portsmouth, her four sons and their wives, Dale Jr. "Bud" and Kim, Chris and Tina, Scott and Peggy and Marc and Kelley all of West Portsmouth, eight grandchildren; JoAnna Moseley, Kelly Schroeder, Hanna and Taylor "Tas" Shupert, Kitsy, Abby and Andrew Shupert and Letrell Craft; as well as three great grandchildren; Alexandra, Kailyn and Michael "Bubby" Schroeder. Special relatives include Barbara and Dave Moritz, John (Deceased) and Deloris Shupert, Fred and Shirley (Deceased) Shupert, Kenneth and Carolyn Shupert, Beverley Riley, Faye Dulaney and Brother Nelson (Deceased).

Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Saturday August 13, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend John Gowdy officiating and interment in Malone Cemetery in West Portsmouth. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 7:00 PM.
