Patty Jean Ober, 76

Patty Jean Poston Ober, 76 of Portsmouth died Wednesday February 6, 2013 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born November 15, 1936 in New Boston the 4th daughter of Arthur Poston and Lillian Urick Poston Crull. Patty was a graduate of Portsmouth West High School and worked for 15 years at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Mercy Campus. She also worked at Speedway in Portsmouth. Along with her parents Patty was preceded in death by her husband George Ober, and 2 sisters Inez Charles and Emily Hileman.

Patty is survived by a son Fred Ober of West Portsmouth, 8 sisters; Bettie Glanton of Dayton, Janet Castle of Lucasville, Helen Royal and Ann King both of Portsmouth, Kay Trogdon of Waverly, Gail Pickelsimer of Lucasville, Judy Morrison of Saginaw, MI and Mary Crull of Knoxville,TN., 2 grandchildren; Zeb Ober and Michael Runyon and a great granddaughter Christy.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday February 9, 2013 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Oscar Perry officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
