Paul "Butch" Monteith Jr. 64
Paul "Butch" Monteith Jr. 64 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday, February 5, 2007 at his residence. Paul was born February 27, 1943 in Portsmouth to the late Paul and Betty Jean Brown Monteith Sr. He was an Army Reserve veteran and a self-employed Plummer. Paul was proceeded in death by his daughter Paulette Mueller and two granddaughter's, Sarah Elizabeth and Lindzy Dawn Wheeler.
Paul is survived by his companion of 23 years Cindy Wheeler; five sons, Rickey Monteith of Lucasville, Joey and Randy Monteith of West Portsmouth, Paul Craig of McDermott, and Aaron Osborne of West Portsmouth; two daughters, Amanda Wheeler of West Portsmouth and Michelle Keen of South Shore, KY; one brother; Don Monteith of West Portsmouth; one sister, Debbie Risner of Youngstown, OH first wife; Karen Cobern of West Portsmouth; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2PM, Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Wayne Lewis officiating and internment in McKendree Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8pm Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
