Paul D. Osborne 83
Paul D. Osborne 83 of Stout, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at SOMC Hospice Center. Paul was born November 22, 1926 in West Portsmouth to the late Carl and Gertrude Hickman Osborne. He was a Navy WWII Veteran and a member of Pond Run Baptist Church. He retired from Martin Marietta as a carpenter and painter in 1990 He was a loving husband, father grandfather and great grandfather. Along with his parents Paul was preceded in death by one sister; Pauline Sowards.
Paul is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marilyn Schoettle Osborne whom he married January 9, 1983 at the Shawnee Lodge, one son; Timothy (Gerry) Osborne of West Portsmouth and one daughter; Nancy (Tom) Partlow of Otway, 2 stepsons, 2 stepdaughters and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jimmy McCullough officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00PM on Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
