Paul A. Ridout Sr., 79

Paul A Ridout Sr., 79 of West Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on Monday April 25, 2016 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1936 in Scioto County to the late Orville and Martha Shepherd Ridout. He was retired from Schaffers Grocery and Foodland after 40 years of service.. Along with his parents Paul was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Donald, David and Ollie Ridout and a sister Betty Hopkins.

Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Clay Ridout, who he married on May 7, 1955,  a daughter Debra and a son Paul A Ridout Jr., both of West Portsmouth, 3 brothers; Jim (Carol) Ridout of Florida, John (Connie) Ridout of Lucasville and Edward Ridout of Columbus and a sister Judy Ridout of Lucasville.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday April 29, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family.
