Peggy Sue Grandin, 72

Peggy Sue Grandin, 72 of Friendship, went to be with her Lord on Monday June 8, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center after a 10 year battle of Ovarian Cancer. She was born November 14, 1942 in Friendship to the late William and Catherine Bussa Gray. She was employed at Shawnee Lodge for 27 years where she retired as the Housekeeping Manager. She was also a member of Turkey Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Earl Frank Grandin who she married July 18, 1958 in Carlisle, Ky.

Peggy is survived by daughter Kitty Marie (Jim) Turner of West Portsmouth and a son Roger Darin (Pam) Grandin of West Portsmouth, a brother Roger Gray of Lucasville, 3 sisters; Linda Mundhenk of Friendship, Donna Kinney of Lucasville and Dana Mundhenk of Otway, 3 grandchildren: Nacole (Joshua) Thoroughman, Adrian (Sean) Taylor and Jessica (Michael) Bennett, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by 2 special friends; Diane Wolfe and Brenda Jayne.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday June 12, 2015 at Turkey Creek Freewill Baptist Church with David Sibole and Sam Salyers officiating Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 5 to 8:00PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
