Peggy Lynn Howell, 56 of Portsmouth, died Wednesday May 29, 2013 at her home. She was born January 5, 1957 in Portsmouth to the late Silas and Betty Dale Howell. Along with her parents Peggy was preceded in death by 6 brothers; Henry, Andy, Bill, Steve, Ralph and Silas "Red" Howell, 3 sisters; Evelene Massie, Linda Howell and Samantha Hall.

Peggy is survived by 3 sons; Eric Lee (Johnda) Howell, Timothy James Howell and Shawn Edward Howell all of Portsmouth, 3 brothers; Ronnie (Linda) Howell, Kenny (Angie) Howell, Jimmy (Vickie) Howell, 6 sisters; Jeannie (Scott) Bailey, Lorie (Jerry) Trollan, Patty (Don) Luke, Diane Mershon, Sue (Skip) Choate and Melissa Sparks, 10 grandchildren; Emleigh, Logan, Jada, Jacob, Actavia, Timothy Jr., Zach, Alex, Haley and Jalen along with several nieces, nephews and her beloved pet "Angel"
