Peggy J. Vendura Whitt, 72

Peggy J. Vendura Whitt, 72 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1951 in Scioto County to the late Gilbert Joseph and Evelyn Evans Vendura.

Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by 2 sons: Gilbert Parker and Adam Parker and 2 sisters: Mary Lynette Newman and Gail Elizabeth Galloway.

Peggy worked as a manager of Video Update and attended New Beginning's Church. She was of the Christian faith and loved her children and grandchildren with open arms. Family was the most important thing in her life. She was the glue that kept the family together.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Thomas Whitt, whom she married on October 24, 1998, a daughter Gina Howard and her fiancé, Johnathan Holsinger, daughter-in-law Nikole Lyons, 10 grandchildren: Gilbert Parker II, Cassy Parker, Gavin Parker, Breana Shae Parker, Adam Parker II, Braxton Betts, Seth Howard, Gabriella Howard, Asher Howard and Paisley Howard, 9 great grandchildren, special nieces: Lisa Journey, Traci Newman and Tammy Hamilton along with several other nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2023 at  New Beginning Church of God in West Portsmouth with Jim Lens officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
