Phyllis D. Perkins, 76

Phyllis D. Johnson Perkins, 76 of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She was born May 30, 1950 in Portsmouth, to the late Ellis and June P. Arthur Johnson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Lynn Jackson.

She was a retired secretary for Dr. Villarreal's office

Phyllis is survived by her children; Harry Daniel (Kristy) Perkins, Charles David (Missy) Perkins, Keri (Shannon) Bowling and Kristin Johnson, 2 sisters; Stephanie Maguire and Donna Pickens, 10 grandchildren; Lynne Piwko, Alishia Sullivan, Landon Perkins, Haylee Perkins, Cole David Perkins, Charles Dash Perkins, Kennedy Bowling, Madison Bowling, Reagan Bowling and Taylor Bowling, 5 great grandchildren; Luke, Riley, Cash, Rory and Finn Sullivan, along with her 3 fur babies; Henry, Roxi and Tigger.

Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Gateway Church of God on 6th and Brown Street in Portsmouth with Shannon Bowling officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday starting at 5:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
