Ralph Anthony "Tony" Kepp, 81
Ralph Anthony “Tony” Kepp, 81, of West Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1944, in Fairborn, Ohio, a son of the late Dorothy Lillian Kepp and Ralph Harmon Kepp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Icie Kepp.
Tony was a 1962 graduate of Valley High School. After high school, he worked alongside his father and brother at Kepp’s Pure Oil Station in Portsmouth before entering the United States Navy. He proudly served his country until 1966 and was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida; Norfolk, Virginia; and Iceland during the early years of the Vietnam War.
In September 1966, Tony met the love of his life, Angela “Angie” Kepp, and the two were married that December. He cherished their 59 years together. Throughout their marriage, Tony and Angie built their own home, and he took great pride in everything he did. Over the years, he worked for Detroit Steel, Rich Oil, Mitchellace, and Weaver’s Gas and Oil.
Tony loved baseball and was a natural storyteller, a dedicated jokester, and a friend to many. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends.
Along with his beloved wife, Angela “Angie” Kepp, he is survived by his daughter, Dani (David) Coleman; his cherished grandchildren, Taylor and Reece Coleman; his brother, Thomas (Judy) Kepp; his nieces, Mandy (Hank) Shackart and Martie (Rob) Cline; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandy (Bill) Minix and their children, Tiffany and Shane Minix; Butch (Paula) Rose and their children, Heidi and Heather Rose; Tonnie Waybright and her children, Drew and Trent Waybright; Rhonda Milks and her daughters, Jessica and Morgan Christopher; and Debbie (Jim) Duncan and their children, Robbie Duncan, Lauren Havens, and Brook Walker. He is also survived by several other wonderful nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
