Ralph McManus 85
Ralph McManus, 85, of McDermott died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Heartland of Portsmouth. Ralph was born December 10, 1923 in Minford to the late George F. and Sarah Elizabeth Ruggles McManus. Ralph had retired from OSCO as a Supervisor, was a member of Central Baptist Church and a Scout Master for Pack 58.He was also an Army WWII Veteran. Ralph was proceeded in death by his wife; Mary E. Vinson McManus, five brothers; Clifford, Chester, Charles, Earnest and Russel McManus and two sisters; Roxy McManus and Ruth Luster.
Ralph is survived by three sons; Ralph Anthony McManus of Milford, Charles Steven McManus of Athens and Timothy Michael McManus of Franklin Furnace, one brother; Gerald McManus of Tacoma, Wa, one sister, Georgetta Shepherd of Wheelersburg, three grandchildren; Ralph, Noah, Dr. C Joel McManus and one great grandson James Ian McManus.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 15, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
