Ralph Moore, 87

Ralph Oscar "Rocky" Moore, 87 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at Hempstead Manor. Ralph was born October 10, 1917 in Scioto County to the late Oscar and Melissa Briggs Moore. He retired from Empire Detroit Steel after 42 years where he worked as a welder.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Garnet Blevins Moore. He is survived by 11 children, Delores Cooper of Stout, Ronnie (Donna) Moore of Lafayette, IN, Carolyn (Bill) Duhl of Chillicothe, Alex (Polly) Moore of Marietta, SC, Jo (Ed) Collier of Chillicothe, Dolly Meyers of Portsmouth, Bonnie Moore of Stout, Diane (Illie) Weghorst of Blue Creek, Richard Moore of Blue Creek, Sandra Moore of West Portsmouth, and Robert R. (Angie) Moore of West Union; two sisters, Joetta Keating and Betty Fannin; 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by a son Roby Daniel Moore; a brother Jonas Moore, and a sister, Dollie Moore.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jimmy McCullough and Wayne Hayslip officiating and interment in Sunshine Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roger W.
