Ralph E Swords, 60
Ralph E. Swords 60, of Rubyville, formally of Friendship died Saturday June 14, 2008 at his home. He was born May 31, 1948 in Scioto County to the late Robert Paul and Catherine Ratcliff Swords. He was a drywall finisher and worked for Don Martin and Company. Along with his parents Ralph was preceded in death by a brother James V. Swords and 2 sisters Phyllis Kelly and Lisa Swords.
Ralph is survived by a son Ralph E. and Jenny Swords Jr. of West Union, a daughter Tammy and Tim Engle of Rubyville, 4 grandchildren; Nicole, Shawn, Kyler and Hunter, 5 brothers; Robert, Earl, Richard, Steven and Daniel, 7 sisters; Wanda, Sue, Charrie, Vicki, Cindy, Valarie and Sheila, along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday June 18, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Hershel Stegall and Daniel Swords officiating. Interment will be in Worley's Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 to 1:00 PM on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
