Raymond Eugene Hodge, 76, of South Portsmouth died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his home. He was born September 30, 1940 in Portsmouth to the late Raymond and Blanche Cooper Hodge. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lancaster and 2 brothers; Roscoe and Gary Hodge. He was a retired truck driver and loved to fish, hunt, and go to auctions.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Sharon Wood Hodge, 2 daughters; Debbie (Mark) Rodgers and Sheila (Tyrone) Brobst, 2 sons; Ron (Patricia) Hodge and Dallas Hodge, 2 brothers; Robert (Emma) Hodge and Michael (Reba) Hodge, a sister, Phyllis Buckler, 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Bob Davis officiating. Interment will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
