Rebecca Jane Leininger, 59

Rebecca Jane Mosley Leininger, 59 of West Portsmouth died Saturday July 26, 2014 at her home. She was born on June 18, 1955 in Portsmouth to the late Harvey and Julia Litteral Mosley. She was a homemaker and loved rescuing animals. She worked with P.A.W.S. and Animal Welfare League. Along with her parents Rebecca was preceded in death by3 sisters; Dody Rotenberry, Georgene Perdue and Emily Mosley. Rebecca is survived by her husband Kent Leininger who she married on April 22, 1989, a son Billy Mosley of West Portsmouth, 2 daughters; Julia (Mitchell) Galloway and Caroline (Missy) Leininger all of West Portsmouth, 2 brothers; JR Mosley and Michael Mosley both of West Portsmouth, 3 sisters; Joanne Mosley of Portsmouth, Pluma Cool of Wisconsin and Skippy Hobbs of Springfield, special sister in law Maribet Mosley of West Portsmouth, 5 grandchildren; Bailey, Devin, Draden, Haley and RJ., special friends Jackie Fitchpatrick and Stephanie Journey, many nieces and nephews and most of all her furry babies. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday July 31, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating.
