Richard Moore, 58

Richard Moore, 58 of West Portsmouth died Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Adams County Hospital. He was born October 27, 1957 in Portsmouth to the late Ralph Oscar and Garnet Esther Blevins Moore. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Roby Moore, and a sister Delores Cooper.

Richard is survived by a son, Joshua Moore, a daughter, Chasity Moore, 4 brothers; Ronnie Moore, Alex Moore, Bobby Moore, and Jeff Chambers, 6 sisters; Carolyn Donaldson, Shirley Myers, Dolly Myers, Bonnie Prater, Diane Weghorst and Sandra Richards, one grandchild Josephine, and special friends; Ronnie Hayslip, Josh Bentley, and Roger Horsley along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11:00am Saturday February 20, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Ralph Hayslip officiating and interment in Sunshine Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral from 6 to 8pm Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home.
