Rilda Sowards "Sis" Hayes Osborne, 79

Rilda Sowards "Sis" Hayes Osborne, 79 of Lucasville formerly of West Portsmouth, died Thursday June 11, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. She was born July 27, 1935 to the late Homer and Mae Ratliff Sowards. She was preceded in death by her former husband William R. Hayes and a brother Roy E. Sowards.

Rilda was a homemaker and a member Grace Chapel Church and attended Community Bible Church.

She is survived by her husband Earl Osborne who she married August 18, 2001. A daughter April K. Hayes Cook of Portsmouth, a brother Clarence "Buddy" Sowards of West Portsmouth, a stepson Rodney Osborne of Lucasville, an Aunt Freda and Don Wheeles of Alabama and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Joey Nelson and Willis Howard officiating and interment in Conley Cemetery.
