Ritchie Darold Askew, 58
Ritchie Darold Askew, 58 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1954 in Portsmouth to the later Richard Askew and Shirley Meeker Litz of West Portsmouth. He was a former Ironworker and was an animal lover. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother Harry Litz Jr.
Ritchie is survived by his mother, a son Ryan Askew of Portsmouth, a stepfather that raised him Harry C. Litz Sr. of West Portsmouth. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
Memorial Services will be 4:00 PM Friday June 1, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home starting at 3:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
