Robert W. Dodds, 83
Robert W. Dodds, 83 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at his home. He was born August 11, 1925 in Portsmouth to the late Marian and Anna Poole Dodds. He was retired from Goodyear Atomic Corporation and was an Army-Air Force WWII Veteran. Along with his parents Robert was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ramey Dodds and a son Robert Ramey Dodds, 3 brothers; Roy, Howard and Ora Dodds, 4 sisters; Alberta Ruddinger, Leona Gilliand, Iloene Dodds and Georgia Thompson.
Robert is survived by 2 daughters; Brenda Holliday and Becky Kreidler both of Cincinnati and 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher Adkins both of Cincinnati.
Funeral services will be 11am on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Denny Dawes officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
