Roger W. Hall, 77

Roger W. Hall, 77 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday December 12, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born March 1, 1940 in Portsmouth to the late Edward and Stella Spurlock Hall. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Julia Marie Lauder Hall who he married on December 29, 1962, and a sister Marceline Conn. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and then retired after many years of being self-employed.

Roger is survived by a son, Roger Dwane (Cathy) Hall of Chillicothe, 2 daughters; Leigh Ann (Bruce) Baer of Loveland, Jennifer Hall (Paul) Melvin of Cincinnati, a brother Ronald Hall of McDermott, a sister Geraldine Hayton of McDermott, 7 grandchildren; Conner and Julia Hall, Christopher (Emily) Madden, Ashleigh (Aaron) Hoover, Tristen, Aiden and Bryce Melvin, and 4 great grandchildren; Lileigh, James, Madeleine, and Elsie.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Friday December 15, 2017 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott, Ohio with military graveside rite by the James Dickey Post American Legion.
