Roger Dale Scott, 52

Roger Dale Scott, 52 of Portsmouth died Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence.  He was born May 3, 1965 in Portsmouth to the late Harold Russel and Pauline Brown Scott.  He was employed by the R. Scott Furniture Business as a mover and a member of the Moose Lodge in Florida. Roger was preceded in death by a sister; Judy Mae Marshall.

Roger is survived by his wife; Nancy Pollitt Scott whom he married December 1, 1999, 3 sons; Levi Swords, Shane Swords, and Robert Davis, 3 daughters; LeeAnn (Philip) Pollitt, Christina Scott, and Brandi Scott, 3 brothers; Harold Pete Scott, John Ray Scott, and Edward Lee Scott, 4 sisters; Elizabeth Hope, Sadie Wilshire, Wanda Artressia, and Violet Kim Allred, 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth interment in Sunset Garden Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday starting at 11:00 AM.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
