Ronald E. Evans, 71

Ronald E. Evans, 71 of West Portsmouth died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at his home. He was born November 4, 1944 in Scioto County to the late Raymond and Leona Essman Evans. He was a retired custodian at Shawnee State University and was a member of Beech Fork Church. Along with his parents Ronald was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Fred Evans and twin brother Donald Evans, 3 sisters; Marilyn Throckmorton, Maxine Burton, and Rosalee Chochard.

Ronald is survived by his wife Margie Davis Evans, one son Brad (Susie) Evans of Hodgenville, Kentucky, a daughter Rhonda (Scott) Brown of Otway, a brother Carl Evans of St. Petersburg, Florida, 3 sisters; Janet Bennett of Wheelersburg, Phyllis Wills of Lucasville and Jenny Piatt of McDermott, 4 grandchildren; Brittany (Kevin) Parker, Erica Adkins, Tyson (Andrea) Brown, and Luke Brown, 4 great grandchildren; Jade Evans, Sadie Butler, Sam Parker, Nick Parker, and Addi Brown.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Beech Fork Church in Otway with Tom Brown officiating and internment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 PM on Saturday at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
