Ronald Dwaine Moore, 77

Ronald Dwaine Moore, 77, of McDermott, Ohio, went home to be with the lord on June 24, 2012, at the SOMC Hospice Center. He was born on September 12, 1934 in Adams County. He was a member of Beech Fork Church in Otway, Ohio. He was a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. His heath started failing and for the last few years spent most of his time at home watching wild life in his back yard, and enjoying his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his wife, Linda Ridout Moore. They were united in marriage September 12, 1995. He is also survived by his son, Jeffrey A. Moore (wife Chris), sister, Mary Ruth (Moore) Niederhelman (husband Larry) of Cincinnati, Ohio, brother, Hosea Junior Moore (wife Mary) of San Diego, CA, sister, Anna Pauline Roten of Kentucky Lake, KY, step-son, Jeffery Ridout, step-daughter, Marlo Ridout Lozier; grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Moore Jr., Ashley Moore Benner, Sarah Moore, Heather Emmons Coleman, Jeremy & Presley Ridout, Landon & Lindee Lozier, J.P. Miller and Meadow Patterson; great grandchildren, Hayden & Noah Moore, Cayden Coleman, Jaekyn & Javyn Ridout, Isabella Miller and Trevor Staggs along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosea & Bertha Moore, daughter, Kimberly Emmons, and grandson, Heath Emmons, brother, James Willard Moore, and sister, Shelby Jean Moore Weaver.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 27th , 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, Ohio, with Pastor Debbie Baer officiating. Burial will be at Locust Grove Cemetery, Peebles, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, and one hour before the services on Wednesday.
