Roy Blevins, 89

Roy Blevins, 89 of Portsmouth died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Pristine Senior Living of Portsmouth. He was born March 7, 1928 to the late Hugh and Goldie Fite Blevins. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Along with her parents, he is preceded in death by 2 wives; Mary K. Blevins and Carla D. Blevins, 7 siblings and a special nephew, Johnny Haynes.

Roy is survived by 2 sisters; Frances Haynes of Portsmouth and Wanda Abbott of Rushville, Indiana, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Blevins officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Erwin American Legion Post #622 and the William A. Baker American Legion Post #363.
