Roy Edward Mayberry, 78
Roy Edward Mayberry, 78 of West Portsmouth died Friday, June 1, 2007 at his residence. Roy was born March 14, 1929 in Portsmouth to the late Roy and Pearl Louise Cogan Hall. He was employed by Western and Southern Life Insurance Company, served in the Air Force, and was a member of the American Legion, the Elks, and the Eagles.
Roy is survived by his wife Nellie Mae Dickison Mayberry; two sons, Patrick (Rebecca) Mayberry and Paul Mayberry of West Portsmouth; two daughters, Pamela (George) Gravely of Lakeland, FL and Jennifer Geyer of West Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Christopher Mayberry, Lisa Browning, Brandin Gravely, Jason Mayberry, and Nathan Geyer; and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Cody and Caitlin Mayberry. He is also survived by sister-in-law Peg and Zane Campbell and their children, Scott, Andrew, and Emily.
Graveside services will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Greenlawn Cemetery with son-in-law George Gravely officiating and Graveside Military Rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Ohio. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
